This may be the first cultural trip to Tahiti under Te Ori Mana but for some of you, it will be the 3rd trip we have taken to Tahiti and Huahine.  There is nothing short of this trip that will be memorable.  You will be emerse to create great memories with your "Ohana" here and over there  with daily cultural activities, workshops,  performing at the Heiva festivities, eating local foods, experiencing the beautiful nature and most importantly the people of the islands.    This unique trip was made possible through our partnership of the Mayor's office in Huahine and Raiatea and without forgeting our main people on these islands, Aunty Clara,  Aunty Laina, Aunty Marilyn, Uncle Roger, Uncle Francis, Uncle Marc, Uncle Rony, Uncle Patrick and Uncle Taumata.

  1. Air Tahiti Nui (international)
    Air Tahiti Nui is located at Tom Bradley's International Airport in Los Angeles. Each check-in bag(s) should not weight more than 40lbs. You are require to check-in 4 hours prior to your flight due to possible delays at TSA. Your flight will depart from Los Angeles via flight #101 on July 10th, 2020 at 11:55pm and arrive in Papeete, Faa'a International Airport at 5:05am on July 11th, 2020. Your flight back to Los Angeles will depart July 19th via flight # 008 at 11:45pm to arrive at 10:25am on July 20th, 2020.
  2. Air Tahiti (domestic)
    Air Tahiti at the airport in Tahiti is located right next to the international arrival gate. Proceed to check in to your flight to Huahine. Limited weight with no extra fee is 20kg (40lbs). Please pack your suitcase accordingly. Your flight #311 will depart from Papeete to Huahine at 9:05am and arrive at 9:45am on July 11th, 2020. Your return flight #370/412 to Papeete will be at 8:40am. All domestic airports, except in Tahiti, do not have security procedures.
  3. Transportation
    Our group will have a dedicated bus, local style with open windows also known as the "truck", that will be providing all the transportation required. Any other transportation not part of our itinerary will be additional cost to you. Please be respectful and clean after yourself when departing the truck.
  4. Accommodation
    Your 8 nights accommodation will be at the Royal Huahine. The standard room will be in a Garden Bungalow. For additional cost, you will have the option to upgrade to Beach Bungalow or Overwater Bungalow. This resort is accessible only via boat because it's located on a private bay in Huahine.
  5. Meals
    All your daily meals are included into your package for the 8 nights stay in Huahine. Your daily buffet breakfast will be served at your hotel. Lunches and dinners will be coordinated and provided by MFR and the Mayor's office. All lunches and dinners are served as cafeteria style and prepared local styles. Fresh fish, french bread, meat, vegetable, potatoes, pasta, rice, fresh fruits, water and juices will be the main staple food for lunches and dinners.
  6. Water activities
    Bring your bathing suit, towel and a lot of sunscreen. There will be A LOT of water activities!
  7. Passport (legal documents)
    In order to travel to Faa'a International Airport of Tahiti, French Polynesia, you are required to have a valid passport. If you are holding a US passport, you are not require to apply for a visitor visa entry. If you are not holding a US Passport, please check with your consulate on the entry requirements to Tahiti, French Polynesia.
  8. Land activities
    Bring your sunscreen and be ready to be emerge into the culture and nature!
  9. Performing
    As part of thsi cultural exchange trip, we will be performing for the Mayor and his/her office delegates. We will also be performing during the Heiva. More information will be provided as we have more details to share.
  10. Workshops
    As requested, we will be having intensive workshops so all the students and parents can engage to the maximum with this cultural experience. These workshops will be specifically design for our group based on the level of experience that each participants will have.
